Delaney's Belated Birthday Party

A Very Un- HAPPY Day!

We've been counting down the days for months it seems. Discussions have revolved around butterfly cupcakes and special dinners. Despite our best efforts to keep little D healthy for her 3rd birthday, the crud managed to find her and we had no choice but to postpone her celebration. The cold has finally subsided, so the highlight of her birthday was to take a slushy walk to the river. The look on her face pretty well sums up how she's felt for the past five days. We're hoping that by Tuesday or Wednesday she'll be ready to go again and we can make her birthday official. What bad luck!

Chicken Sitting

This weekend we were tasked with chicken-sitting for our friends the Jones'. With Delaney sick, she didn't really get to enjoy it, but checking the coop for eggs was a thrill for Meredith. We'd love to have chickens of our own- the eggs are well worth the work!
