Welcome to the Delaney Rose blog...

Delaney was born January 27, 2010 at 3:09 pm on a snowy Gunnison day. She was 14 weeks premature and weighed 1 pound 15 ounces. We survived 80 days in Grand Junction at St. Mary's NICU, and finally made it home the third week in April. We created this blog while living in GJ so that our friends and family could stay up to date on Delaney's progress. We plan to maintain the site and post when we can, so please enjoy!

Sunday June 20

We wanted to post at least one picture and let you know that we will report again tomorrow. Jennifer will be taking Delaney to a doctors appointment first thing in the morning so we'll have more to tell you tomorrow night.... Happy Father's Day to all the great dads out there!

    Hi there Diamond family,
    I have watched Delaney's miraculous growth sporatically in my travels, but must apologize for not commenting sooner. Took me a while to figure out how! Delaney is beautiful and she is so lucky to have picked the parents she did! I am amazed at your resilience and strength during this difficult journey. I know it has been life-changing and definitely worth every minute. You are some powerful people, Brandon and Jennifer! What a beauty Meredith is and tell her that and how impressed I am with her great job as big sister. Wish I could hug you all, but don't know when I will be in Gunnison. I am heading for Fort Collins from Texas in a week or so I think. Hope Delaney doesn't outgrow the gift I have started for her before I see you! Kiss those beautiful girls for me and know that you are always in my prayers. Love to all, Linda
