For those of you that know Meredith, you know that one of her favorite things in life is her "pink". It's a little pink blanket with a bear on it that she has had forever. It's worn and torn now, but she still carries it around and sleeps with it at night. The other day she was shopping with her Grandparents and found a special gift for her new sister. I asked what it was when she got home and she said "it's a special new pink for my little sister." Delaney's new pink quickly made its way over to the NICU and before we knew it, she was cuddled up with it. Jennifer got a great picture of her with her new pink the other night.

Brandon, Jennifer, Meredith and Delaney, our hearts go out to you. We miss you all and wish you ALL of the BEST. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Brandon, if you remember my buddy Rich from CA? He and his firefighters are thinking of little Delaney. We'll try to get down to see you all. We love you all.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful big sister Meredith is! She did a fantastic job picking out Delaney's pink! I'm sure Delaney will love it until well after it is torn and worn. Kirsten has a huge white rabbit she received from Paul and Kathy Jones when she was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 3 -- he is not quite white anymore and is a bit flat in places, but it is still as special to her today as it was 15 years ago! So precious! We are thinking of you always! Stay strong and let us know if we can do anything to help.
