Delaney was born January 27, 2010 at 3:09 pm on a snowy Gunnison day. She was 14 weeks premature and weighed 1 pound 15 ounces. We survived 80 days in Grand Junction at St. Mary's NICU, and finally made it home the third week in April. We created this blog while living in GJ so that our friends and family could stay up to date on Delaney's progress. We plan to maintain the site and post when we can, so please enjoy!

Friday
We're waiting to hear the results of Delaney's third echocardiogram that they did this morning. Hopefully her ductus is closed now for good. Be strong little girl.
Oh, the excruciating pain of waiting for test results. I hope you can clear this hurdle. We are rooting for you, Delaney!
Nice to see Karen as one of your nurses. While we were so pleased with all the NICU staff, she was definitely one of our favorites! She has so much experience with preemies.
Yes, be strong, little one. Every day you get under your belt is a major victory!
Aunt Holly, Uncle Eric, and cousins Noah, Maren and Matthew are all rooting for you, Miss Delaney Rose! Aunt Holly is especially hoping Delany will get more restful apnea free sleep.
